Founded in 1974 by Jerry Rhodes, the company was started out of his garage in Sandy Springs, SC, until the business was established and could be moved to its current location along Clemson Blvd (Hwy 76) in 1982. In those early years, Jerry was
not only the owner/operator but also served as Installer, Salesperson, Secretary, and Service Technician. Jerry tirelessly invested countless hours ensuring the company would be successful.
In 2013, Jerry retired from daily involvement in the business and turned over ownership to his daughter, Christina Rhodes Wickliffe. And while Jerry’s role with the company has lessened, he has not stopped caring for the Carolina Burglar family. He is a frequent visitor to the office and maintains an active presence in the lives of many of the employees; some of which have been with the company for over 30 years.
What sets us apart is our commitment to doing things the right way—offering honest advice, prompt service, and high-quality installations that stand the test of time.
